BE HUMBLE, O PEOPLE OF GOD GOD is calling for complete and true humility. On the 12th of May 2015, the LORD JESUS CHRIST spoke and revealed to me in the realm of the SPIRIT in a vision that: “HUMILITY BRINGS FAVOUR. IT MAKES YOU TO HAVE AND FIND FAVOUR IN THE SIGHT OF GOD”. See! You need to be washed in the water basin of the Word of GOD; that is, you need to be cleansed continually and constantly by the washing of water with the Word of GOD (check Ephesians 5:25-27; John 3:5-6); so that you can be made humble. Let your Bible become your best companion! Know this, a true heart is a humble heart. The Bible says, “Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water” (Hebrews 10:22 NKJV). It takes humility for you to increase and come up higher (check Luke 14:7-11; Proverbs 25:6-7). Have a constant remembrance that JESUS die for your sins and resurrected on the third day for your justification; this will make you to constantly humble yourself before Him (Philippians 2:5-11). However, I understood through the vision of the LORD JESUS CHRIST that: “TRUE HUMILITY IS ALLOWING GOD TO HAVE HIS WAY IN YOUR LIFE. IT IS ALIGNING YOURSELF WITH HIS ORDERS AND INSTRUCTIONS”. The truth is, a man of true humility agrees with GOD, and constantly show himself to be conformed to the Will of GOD. Good shall come to that man; he shall prosper and be great (Job 22:21-22). He seeks his GOD through humility and prayer in all ways; he constantly prays like this: “LET YOUR WILL BE DONE IN MY LIFE, O LORD. LET IT BE TO ME ACCORDING TO YOUR WORD. HAVE YOUR WAY WITH, IN AND FOR ME. FOR MY TIMES ARE IN YOUR HANDS. DO TO ME WHATEVER SEEMS GOOD, RIGHT AND BEST TO YOU. FOR YOU ARE MY MAKER”. You see, a humble person is completely submissive and willing (agreeing) to do what GOD wants, and willing (agreeing) to accept and receive what GOD want to give to him with all his heart. He/she has a quite and glad heart of service to GOD and man, without receiving recognition, expecting nothing in return; his/her reward will be great (Luke 6:35-36; Matthew 6:1-4; 20:25-28). Great grace and glory will come to a humble person; but great disgrace and shame will come to a proud person. Listen! You have to fear (have a holy respect for) GOD for you to be humble (Proverbs 15:33). Learn how to pray from a heart of humility! Now, let us look at the following advantages (gains) of humility: > It will make you wise; it will even make you to truly and fully know GOD (Proverbs 11:2; 9:10). > It will exalt (lift) you; it will even save and deliver you from destruction and troubles (1 Peter 5:16; 2 Samuel 22:28; 1 Kings 21:29). > It will make the LORD to revive your spirit (Isaiah 57:15). > It will add and attract great grace to your life; you will declare a thing, and it will be established for you, and light of GOD’S favour will shine on your ways (James 4:6; Job 22:24-30). > It will make the LORD to watch over you and your family for good; and He will fill your household with good things (Isaiah 66:2; Psalms 149:4). > It will give you unlimited access to the spiritual blessings and benefits of Heaven (Matthew 5:3; 18:3-4). > It adds and attracts riches, honour and life from the LORD; it will make Him to supply all your needs (Proverbs 22:4). On the 25th of July 2015, I heard GOD saying, “HUMILITY SPEAKS”. As a matter of truth, it really pays to be humble! You are proud because you have an uncircumcised and unclean heart. Thus, return to the LORD and seek His Face continually and constantly, for He is gracious and merciful. Allow Him to circumcise and clean your heart. Pay close attention! Take care then how you think. Stop thinking well of yourself; do not think of yourself better than others, and more highly than you ought to think (Romans 12:3). Henceforth, consider yourself below others (check Philippians 2:3-4). Count and rate yourself as nothing and insignificant (unimportant). Be lowly in heart! Think differently; change your mind. Turn away from your majestic pride and false humility now! Consecrate a fast, so that you might humble yourself before GOD. Humble yourself with prayer and fasting. In conclusion, these are the days when the eyes of the arrogant man will be humbled, and the pride of men will be brought down low (proud leaders will be brought down); the LORD alone will be exalted in justice like never before! He will humble nations and places by great judgement, sword, oppression, calamity, disasters, famine, plague (pestilence), sorrow and destruction in these times and seasons. He will punish them for their evil and sins. For they did not humble themselves or show holy respect, nor have they followed His law (instructions) and the decrees (Words) He set before them! GOD says, “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14 NKJV). LET US PRAY: Heavenly Father, I lay down my ways and desires before You. Be preeminent in my life. Become King in my mortal body, heart and mental faculty. In Your favour, have mercy on me. Forgive me of any unforgiveness that I may have in my heart. Create in me a clean and humble heart. Set me apart for a holy purpose. Be everything to me. And be the indwelling and controlling factor of my life. Rule over my household. Deliver me from the spirit of pride and arrogance. Let not the foot of pride and arrogance overtake me. Clothe me with your humility. Revive me and let Your Holy Spirit circumcise my heart and take over me completely. Turn my heart to the direction of Your choice. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen! Zephaniah 2:3 says, “Seek the Lord [inquire for Him, inquire of Him, and require Him as the foremost necessity of your life], all you humble of the land who have acted in compliance with His revealed will and have kept His commandments; seek righteousness, seek humility [inquire for them, require them as vital]. It may be you will be hidden in the day of the Lord’s anger” (AMP). PLEASE SHARE.
