My peace cannot be purchased with any amount of silver and gold, says the Lord. It cannot be earned and cannot be manufactured or duplicated by anyone or anything. My peace will be given to you, even as you trust in Me. It is free to whoever will come to Me in simple, child-like, dependent faith. This peace will bring you rest, even as I slept in the boat during the raging storm as My disciples tried unsuccessfully to reach the safety of the other shore. You can rest in Me with this same confidence, knowing that you will not be destroyed by the winds of adversity, and the flood gates of the enemy that are opened against you will not destroy you or deter you from your destiny in Me, says the Lord.
You do not have to work up confidence in yourself or try to perform at a higher level, says the Lord. Place all of your faith and hope and confidence in Me. For I cannot fail. I will not fail, and I have not failed you in the past. You did not fail either, because you have endured the storms that have endeavored to take you under. Your life is hid in Me, and I Am your security. You can be confident in My goodness and mercy. You can be assured of My love and compassion for you. You can count on My faithfulness, and know that I Am that shelter for you in the time of any storm, and you are secure in Me, says the Lord.
