Perils and Power (2026 and Beyond)
This year judgment begins at the house of the Lord. The gulf between the righteous and unrighteous this year will be very distinct and wide. It will no longer be a plumet line, fence line, or invisible boundary and border. The gray area will no longer exist. Indecision is not an option.
Cultural Christianity will be exposed as a fake security, a mirage in a dry desert place, clouds without water in the presence of drought, weapons without ammunition, warfare without training, famine without food, and big, empty words that come crashing to the ground. The powerless will be in a panic. False securities will utterly fail. As the 5 virgins ran out of oil in their lamps and had no light at the midnight hour, so shall it be for many who had their lamps that once had oil in them, but they did not have any reserves.
The prayerless cultural church will have no power. They will have no lifeline. They will have no foundation. The backsliders who once had fire on their altars allowed them to go out. The lukewarm rely on past experiences rather than a current vital relationship with God. They are coasting until they come to a sudden stop. Once they had vision, but the god of this world has been allowed to blind their eyes, and they believe their past righteousness will save them. It won’t.
The midnight hour approaches. Those who have no oil have continually borrowed from those who were prepared. They rely on the prayers of others, the anointing of those who pressed into the presence of God and did not let their lamps go out. The righteous always have a surplus as they anticipate the announcement of the bridegroom’s arrival.
The door of the ark that is ajar is going to be closed. Those who continue to delay will be suddenly aware that they are on the outside when the storm comes, and it will surely come.
Idols of silver and gold, materialism, will not save. Economies are going to be shaken. The sudden, unexpected storms will come. Warnings have been repeatedly ignored. Grace has been trampled underfoot. Every time of respite has been followed by stubbornness, obstinance, complacency, and disobedience. The grace of God has been used as a license to sin.
Those who are vigilant and on fire for God have been isolated from the mainstream cultural church. They have been mocked and scorned. They are seen as old-fashioned, ineffective, and obsolete.
The lukewarm have abandoned the old paths of righteousness and holiness, and have replaced true worship with entertainment, anointing with talent. The showmanship has replaced the authentic, and the glory of God has long departed from them. Programs have replaced power. Those who carry the glory are deemed eccentric.
It is going to become very dark, and that plague of darkness will be felt. Those who have the true light will become brighter. In contrast, they will have light that can be felt. Revival fires will burn, and those fires will not go out. They will be fueled continually and not quenched. There will be the perpetual morning and evening sacrifice on the altar as true believers continually offer the sacrifice of praise and present themselves unto God as a holy, living sacrifice onto the Lord.
The spiritual famine will be global. Those who have corn in the garners will be sought after. Revival will only happen out of desperation. The true remnant will bring in the harvest of souls that will be hungry, thirsty, and seeking.
Two things will take place. There is going to be a revival of righteousness and holiness, and an explosion of filth at the same time. Evil will be exposed. False doctrine will no longer be masked. Empty promises from religious traditions and worldly teachings will be plainly seen. Candlesticks will be removed. There will be a great shaking, and a shift is coming.
The true church will emerge and be spotless, powerful, productive, and miracles, signs and wonders will not be sporadic, but constant. True miracles, healing, deliverance, and conversion of souls will be manifest, and God will pour out His Holy Spirit, signs and wonders, miracles, and power. God will build His church, and hell itself will not be able to stop it.
God’s remnant church will not cower. They will stand, be strong, bold as a lion, truly anointed, and they will do the greater works. His house will be filled with the smoke of His glory, and no amount of darkness will put out the light. This year will be marked with revelation knowledge, wisdom, and a fresh baptism of fire in the Holy Ghost. The church will be glorious, spotless, as they boldly cross over the Jordon, step into their destiny, ascend higher, their roots go down deeper, they bear fruit upward, and they possess the gates of their enemies. Position will exceed a desire for promotion as they are steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord. Spiritual gifts will be in constant operation.
As Ezekiel has a vision of the waters that issued from under the altar out of the temple, and became a river, that river of life is within you and needs to be a well-spring. The levels are our choice. Some stay on the shoreline, never dipping their feet in the water. They see it, talk about it, but never touch it. Others dabble in it and get their feet wet. Some venture out a little deeper. We need to be in the river of His glory and swim in it. God is calling you. The choice is between life and death, darkness or light, feast or famine. What side will you be on?
Prodigals will come home. Repentance will be real. The harvest will be great despite the dense darkness. The fires of revival will not be extinguished.
God’s remnant church will be holy, separate, distinct, powerful, fearless, anointed, untouchable, uncompromising, and sought after. The Lord says to tell the righteous that they are safe, secure, furnished, blessed, provisioned, and they will have more than enough. It will be well with them.
It’s time to stand. Put on the whole armor of God. Be filled with the Holy Spirit. Have oil in your lamps and don’t let the lights go out. Fire needs to be on the altar and attended to night and day. Really pray. Seek the Lord. Love the Lord, not the things that are in the world. Stop compromising. Don’t complain. Stop being a coward. Yes, stand! Refuse to be silent. Lift up your voice like a trumpet. Sound the alarm. Time is running out. Open your eyes. Open your ears. Stop playing church and be the church. Be holy. Be fiery hot. Stay in the presence of God. Get ready for the return of the bridegroom and set your affections on things that are above. Press on! Don’t quit. Lift up your eyes, for your redemption draws nigh. Jesus is coming soon. Are you ready? Get ready. Get set! Go in this your might!
